Author Defies the Norm with His Views on Globally Accepted Truths

Timmins, Canada(March 19, 2014)– In the upcoming London Book Fair, author Allan Manchester’s interestingly informative book, How to Stop a Hurricane and Some Other Things You Might Like to Know is sure to intrigue visiting readers.  He hopes to shed light on some accepted trivia and facts.  Now, readers get to understand that there’s more to these pieces of scientific and historical information that everyone has long memorized and accepted as truths.

The author’s unique insights are applied to some of society's most pernicious problems.Conventional wisdom is firmly dismissed, dropping models of Einstein, Newton, Moses, and Adams, to present some simple and logical perceptions.  He presents a monumental shift in common world view, changing many of the foundations of the intellectual world.

Some of the points he cited are:
·         Money is the most useless thing in society as people cannot eat it, wear it, live in it or consume it in any way.
·         Every sect in the world looks down on the rest of mankind as being inferior.
·         Newton's understanding of gravity was deficient, and so all the claims built upon it are theoretical nonsense and intellectual con.

“There are many things that I think academia has missed, but I find it bizarre that there are reports of seeing evidence of black holes at the galaxy's center, when no one notices the black hole within our solar system,” says Manchester.

This book is available online and can be purchased at www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com.

About the Author
Allan Ronald Manchester, born in 1955, graduated a two-year Business Administration course in Ottawa. Shortly after his graduation, he failed his first business venture in Ontario. A year later, he attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College, graduating with a theological degree; but he felt that he could no longer support the congregation. Leaving the church, he opened a variety store in the town where he left the rectory. He then worked as an educational clerk in Pittsburgh Correctional Institution; but did not thrive in the position.  After a year, he wenttrucking, driving a transport all over North America for four years, until an injury induced seizure resulted in a license suspension. Much of the philosophy presented in this book was developed over the long, quiet miles of those four years. The philosophy presented in this book has been presented to physics and economics students and professors, without making a dent in their world view.
